Preserving Our Past - Oral History Workshop   
Harbor Springs History Museum
Saturday, September 11, 2010, 10:00am - 3:00pm   

As part of our mission to preserve the history of their area, the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society is pleased to sponsor a special oral history workshop on Saturday, September 11 from 10 am to 3 pm. The training workshop will be led by Geneva Kebler Wiskemann, secretary and founding member of the Michigan Oral History Association (MOHA). Wiskemann will cover each aspect of a successful oral history—from recording to transcription.

This program is funded in part by Michigan Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Cost of the workshop is $15 per person for non-members and    free to current HSAHS members. The workshop will include materials provided by MOHA and lunch will be served. The workshop will  be held in the second-floor Anton Library at the Harbor Springs History Museum, 349 E. Main Street, Harbor Springs, MI. Spaces are limited and registration is encouraged by Friday, September 3.  For more information or to register,    contact:
